Jayson and Cadence met at Potomac State College. They met through mutual friends. Around January 2024, they grew closer as they became friends who would Bible study together, prank each other, and do homework together. They grew together as friends for a year and a half. Cadence had a major crush on Jayson for this year and a half. Eventually, Jayson asked Cadence to be his girlfriend in February of 2025. Jayson asked Cadence to be his wife on July 4, 2025. They feel that God has given them both confirmation and that He has written their love story.
