We met November 6, 2019. Our first date was at Doc Sullivan’s in South Buffalo where we hit it off with good conversation over burgers. Throughout Covid being out at Ben’s family’s property was where love grew where it seemed like life was a little more normal. We have enjoyed going camping and riding on the side by side going to New Hampshire, West Virginia, Maine, and Pennsylvania. Ben has taught me all the ins and outs of producing maple syrup. Life gets a little crazy in the early spring, but working in the woods is a favorite past time. In the summer of 2021 Ben asked me to move in and I packed up and sold my house in the city of Buffalo and moved out onto Ben’s family’s property which had begun to feel like home already. We are working hard to make the historic farmhouse ours that has been in the family for generations. Ben proposed on July 14th 2023, when we were on a camping trip in Pennsylvania. We are so excited for this new adventure and chapter in our story ❤️
