Cadie Jo and Winford met through mutual friends in Cadie Jo's first week of college. They became close quickly during the time that they spent hanging out with their friend group. After a couple of months of being friends, they began spending time together outside of the friend group. Soon after, they went on their first date to dinner and mini golf (she won), where Winford asked to make it official.

Winford and Cadie Jo love going to church to grow closer to Jesus together (and going to Chuy's after). They love thrifting, playing pickleball, and going on picnics.

On February 9th, 2024 Winford planned a surprise picnic where he asked Cadie Jo to be his wife! And obviously, she said yes!!
