He asked me to be his girlfriend at the softball fields. I was lacing up my cleats, when he suddenly approached me with a smile and obvious nervousness.

"I asked permission from your dad to court you. Would you- may we- would you like to court me?"

"Yes!"

I was incandescently happy! I had deep feelings for Cadyn Miller for the last two years, but I was never fully sure if he had similar feelings.

Our first game as a couple, he completely ignored me. besides the few glances and smiles, he avoided talking to me. It was only later that I learned that the stoic, quiet Cadyn I knew was completely, and utterly lost with how he should interact with me as his girlfriend.

Don't worry, he figured it out!

This was our First Date as a couple! I was so excited for the whole evening! We spent the date engaged in conversation, creating new inside jokes to laugh at, and giddy with excitement! After dinner, he asked me to slow dance. It was a beautiful evening! I couldn't have imagined a more perfect first date!

I was so excited to be Cadyn Miller's girlfriend! Word spread throughout our church that the two of us were officially courting, and I was given hugs and congratulations at every turn. I learned that everyone had seen the development of our relationship throughout the years, and they knew we had liked each other for quite some time.

He surprised me at my family photo shoot with a poem,

"Life is full of ups and downs

of many sights, scents, and sounds.

as I hear, smell, and see.

I want to do it all with thee

Bella Rose, you have my heart

So, life with you I wish to start

I wish that you and I were we

so, Bella, Will you marry me?"

I said yes, with tears in my eyes! It was the most romantic and loving proposal that I could have ever imagined.

I cannot wait to start the beginning of forever with the love of my life. I hope that you can join us in celebration during this wonderful time of our lives.
