The wedding itself will be outdoors overlooking some of Colorado’s beautiful scenery while the reception will be indoors. Guests will then have the option to linger inside on the dancefloor or outside to admire the view late into the night.

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal. It is important to note that the wedding venue does have quite a bit of gravel around it, so be mindful of your footwear.

On top of a mountain in Colorado, the weather can be a bit unpredictable. However, the highs are usually in the 70s in the afternoon but can drop to the 50s in the evening. There is also a chance of afternoon showers, but it is unlikely that the wedding will be inside since afternoon showers do not last long. It also may be quite windy and sunny, so use plenty of hair spray and sunscreen.

Unfortunately, due to the capacity of the venue and our budget, we are unable to accommodate additional guests. We are only able to invite those who received invitations.

Please keep in mind that our venue is at 10,000 feet elevation. We recommend guests arrive a few days early to adjust to the elevation change. We also recommend guests stay hydrated. Please remember that one alcoholic drink at altitude equates to two alcoholic drinks at sea level.

Arrive at the Golden Hotel by 3:30 to catch the bus up to the venue. If you miss this bus, you will have to Uber or drive to the venue. Keep in mind that Uber can take you to the venue, but it will not pick you up from the venue because of how remote it is. If you plan on driving to the venue please arrive between 4:00-4:15pm so you have enough time to find your seats before the ceremony starts at 4:30pm.

The last shuttle down to the hotel will leave Echo Mountain at 11pm. It will take you back to the hotel. If you still have a little party in you, there are a few establishments open late near the hotel.

Yes, there is a welcome party at the Golden Hotel from 7:30-9:00. Please come and enjoy some happy conversation with the couple and other guests. The welcome party has a cash bar.

We please ask that you refrain from taking any photos/videos during the ceremony, but take as many as you can before and after the ceremony!

No! Please refrain from bringing any outside alcohol on the bus or to the venue. There is a $1000 fee charged to the couple if anyone at the wedding is found to have outside alcohol.

The shuttle bus company, Hermes Worldwide, will first pick up guests at the Golden Hotel at 3:30pm. If you miss this bus, you will need to Uber or drive to the venue. The bus will take between 45 minutes and an hour to reach the venue at Echo Mountain. All buses have bathrooms. Then an early shuttle at 9:30 will take guests back to the Golden Hotel. The final shuttle will leave Echo Mountain at 11:00pm.

Yes, guests can drive to the venue. However, the drive is 45 minutes, and the road is steep and winding. This drive can be stressful, especially on the way back at night.

You can only Uber to the venue, but Uber will not pick up at the venue location. The venue is too remote for Uber to pick up any requests.
