Cailey and Jacob met through an acquaintance. They started talking through Facebook. Naturally Cailey went and did some online stalking (like most girls do), and Jacob did a little stalking of his own. They texted each other non-stop, and quickly planned to have their first date the next weekend. Saturday, September 11, 2021 came and Cailey was nervous (you know it being the first date.) Jacob was a little nervous. Once they got together everything seemed to come easily for them. They planned to have a nice dinner and go watch a movie, that was the safest option for a first date. September was a very busy month, the first date, Cailey’s best friend came up, and it was also Cailey’s birthday. Jacob bless his heart didn’t realize what he was getting himself into. After the first few months, it wasn’t uncommon to see Cailey and Jacob together on the weekends. They were inseparable, and they still are! Even though just a few months had past, it seemed like they had always been together. Their relationship was so natural. They became each others best friend over night. Fast forward to September 2022, Cailey’s month was here. It was an even more crazy year then the one before had been. Cailey graduated college, she was turning 24, and Jacob had her a surprise planned. September 10, 2022 a day before the anniversary of their first date. Jacob decided he was going to recreate one of the best days of their lives. So they got ready and went back to Chattanooga, and had their first date all over again. During dinner Cailey asked, “if he was proposing?”and he said “no” she was a little sad. She had been hyping herself up all day because it was a year after the first date. They went to the mall, then decided to go walk the bridge. Jacob had Cailey distracted, while their parents and siblings quickly got into position. When Cailey looked up there was a big sign that said “ We Said YES”, instantly she started crying her eyes out. Jacob dropped to one knee and before he could get anything out she had said “Yes.” It was one of the best days of the couples lives. Now here they are about to become Husband and Wife. They are truly blessed God lead them to each other. Cailey and Jacob are excited to start this new chapter of life.
