Our Wedding

<p>I remember in elementary school playing tag, football, or capture the flag, that I was always trying to impress this one certain girl. She was a grade older than me, so naturally I thought that things just couldn't work out. But I'll never forget when we both reached middle school and we started having classes together. She was always the smartest in the class, and this didn't go well with my competitive nature. I could never seem to beat her on any test or quizzes, no matter how hard I tried. I remember being somewhat happy when she would move on to the next grade, but sad that we weren't in the same classes anymore. Fast forward to 2019, she graduates high school and goes to college in Iowa. I'm a senior and we sort of drift apart. We would call/text every now and then but we weren't as close as we used to be. I graduate in 2020 and go to Pensacola for a year. We still were texting on and off, but one day we just started talking again. Those texts turned into long phone calls and FaceTime. I eventually got accepted in West Point and that is where we were tested again. My freshman year at the academy was different and not something that I was used to, yet throughout it all she continued to support me throughout that whole year. She was my best friend, and during my sophomore year, I told her that I wanted her to be my best friend for life. We started dating during Thanksgiving break and have continued to grow closer ever since. I am truly honored and blessed to go through life with her and I cannot wait for all the years to come. I think the biggest flex in this whole story is that I actually get to marry my best friend and call her my wife!</p>

How they met?

<p>One of my favorite days is when we went to Disney World. We spent the whole day together and it really was just a magical experience. We had no idea that there would be fireworks toward the end of the day, but that really put the icing on the cake.</p>
