During the break between the ceremony and reception, we recommend trying out The Granfalloon (aka the Falloon). This bar/restaurant is near and dear to the groom and bride. This is where our engagement party was almost a year after the engagement with close friends and family. This is a spot we frequent often for good beer, great food and gigantic TVs to watch the games. We recommend the burnt end nachos (the bride thinks they are the best nachos in KC) and the bruschetta as a great appetizer!
Kansas City is known for its barbecue! This is one of our favorite places to go --
About: In Kansas City, where barbecue is a way of life, it is understood that smoke has mystical properties. Smoke has the power to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary. It can transform the least desirable cuts of meat into the most delectable. It can even transform a neighborhood corner gas station into one of the most popular restaurants on the planet.
We recommend The Z-man :)
