Cait and I first met when we were at Villanova. Even though we were part of many of the same friend groups, our paths never crossed until one memorable night in January 2014. While at a birthday party for a friend at Cait's house, we struck up a conversation and instantly connected. Even though we had a brief case of mistaken identity later that night as Cait was talking to Ryan while thinking it was me, that night was the beginning of a beautiful friendship. After spending several months together, we decided (with some gentle nudging along) to finally start dating. After Cait graduated from Villanova, we continued our journey from several states apart. Even though we spent the next couple of years apart with only the occasional visit, our love continued to grow for one another. Over the past few years, our relationship has continued to strengthen with a friendship that leads the way. In March 2017, I finally mustered up the courage to ask Cait to spend the rest of her life with me. We got engaged on March 5th, 2017, back where it all started. While walking to the church at Villanova, we took the next big step forward in our relationship and will never look back.
