It all starts back at Bay High School. Chris and Caitie shared mutual friends in school and would hang out from time to time. Once the two graduated, Caitie would move to Colorado and Chris would move to California.

Fast forward 15 years later, and the two would reconnect at their dear friend's passing. Meanwhile, Chris had moved back to Ohio while Caitie was still in Colorado. Chris and Caitie spent those few days together before Caitie caught her flight back home. Chris and Caitie spent the next few weeks texting and talking frequently which then turned into several hours talking on the phone every night and flights back and forth visiting each other.

Chris had once asked Caitie if she would ever move back to Ohio and she adamantly replied "no". However, after one and half years of dating long distance Caitie began packing all of her belongings and moved back to Ohio to be with Chris.

Chris and Caitie have since traveled together, been to countless concerts, and have fallen even more in love. On December 22nd, 2023 Chris proposed to Caitie at their home.
