With more than 165 hands-on exhibits, a state-of-the-art 3D digital theater, four educational labs, plus daily programs and events, the Connecticut Science Center offers endless exploration for children, teens, and adults. From physics to forensics, geology to astronomy, visitors have the sciences at their fingertips.

Bushnell Park

The 50-acre Bushnell Park is the oldest publicly funded park in the U.S. The park offers views of the Connecticut Capitol’s gold-leaf dome, rides on a vintage 1914 carousel, and tree-lined walking paths. Food trucks and some of the city’s most popular restaurants (Vito’s, Salute, Black Eyed Sally’s) line its periphery


There is a carousel to enjoy and sights to take in. The park is almost directly across from the Bond Ballroom.

Dunkin' Donuts Park

Dunkin’ Donuts Park was opened in the spring of 2017 and is the home of Minor League Baseball team, the Hartford Yard Goats. The park was named the 2017 Best Double-A Ballpark in America by Ballparkdigest.com
