Where is the wedding?
Our ceremony and wedding party will be held at The Croft Hotel, Darlington. Northallerton Road, DL2 2ST.
What time is the wedding?
Our ceremony starts at 14:00, but we advise guests to arrive to the hotel at 13:15 and be in the reception bar.
Is parking available?
Parking is available. This can either be in the hotel's car park which can be found at the back of the hotel, or there is limited parking on the front of the hotel which will also be available to guests.
What is the dress code?
We would kindly ask our guests to be in smart, formal wear including smart shoes. We ask for our guests not to wear any causal clothing including hats.
Our colour theme is baby pink, silver and light grey if you wish to join in with the colour theme.
Can I bring a plus one?
Due to limited space we are only able to accommodate those specifically named on the invitation, so unfortunately, plus ones are not included. If this changes your RSVP please contact me personally.
Can I take photo's?
We would like all our guests to take as many photos as they want, and of anything they want. All we ask is that our guests do not put any photos of the wedding, including the bride and groom on social media before we have done so ourselves.
How do I RSVP?
There will be a number on your invite for you to RSVP to. We ask that you RSVP by no later than October 2025- please note that if you do not RSVP before then we will assume that will not be attending which could result in your place being taken by someone else, so please RSVP promptly.
If you change your mind on your decision, again please let us know ASAP.
Also please inform within your RSVP who you are.
What happens after the ceremony?
After the ceremony guests will then move into the reception room or the terrace, where we will have a cocktail reception and our photographs will be taken.
After this we will then move into the function suite where we will then begin our wedding breakfast.
What food will be served?
To cater to everyone we have decided to have a hot fork buffet rather than a sit down meal.
Children will have their own buffet and a in the evening another finger buffet will be provided as well as a sweet treat buffet
Is accommodation available?
Accommodation in the hotel is available to our guests. If you do wish to book accommodation please contact me directly rather than the hotel as we are able to give you a code that will apply for guests to have a discount upon booking.
Will there be a evening reception?
Yes, our wedding will have an evening reception in the hotel. Our evening guests will arrive, and this will be when the cutting of the cake and the first dance will take place.
The hotel aims for the evening reception to be held between 19:00-20:00, till 00:00.
Should I bring a gift?
Your presence at our wedding is present enough. But if you were thinking of giving a gift to help us on our way, a gift of cash towards our honeymoon would really make our day! If however its a gift you find, please be assured we will not mind.
