Blake and Caitlin met in the most contemporary way possible, on the dating app Hinge. After being properly vetted and considering countless friends’ opinions about agonizingly small details of sentence structure, character bios and the likelihood either of them were being catfished, they finally agreed to meet... over the phone.


After several long-pacing, laughter filled and probing hours-long conversations, they found themselves at a venue that they felt most matched their particular personalities, an Irish dive-bar.


They sank deep into conversation and whiskey-gingers, feeling more and more like this was something more than a typical online date.


After acknowledging in panicked vulnerability that both of them were falling faster than anyone felt normal, they attempted stomping the break pedal to no avail. They knew then, earlier than anyone would have expected, that marriage was inevitable.


Now, they find themselves where most good love stories lead, the grueling slog of wedding planning.
