How should I RSVP?
Formal invitations will be mailed in January 2025. Please complete the enclosed response card and return it with the pre-stamped envelope provided.
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP as soon as possible, but the deadline will be February 22, 2025.
What should I do if I am unable to attend?
Please mark the appropriate box on the response card and return it in the pre-stamped envelope provided.
Where will the ceremony take place? What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
The wedding ceremony will take place at Our Lady of Assumption Church in Ventura, CA. The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:30 pm. Please arrive by 2:15 pm to be seated before the Mass begins.
I have never attended a Catholic wedding. What should I expect?
Our marriage ceremony will be celebrated with a traditional Catholic Mass and wedding vows which lasts approximately one hour.
Will the ceremony and the reception take place at the same location?
The ceremony will take place at Our Lady of Assumption Church in Ventura, CA. The cocktail hour and reception will follow at Sterling Hills Golf Club in Camarillo, CA.
What is the timeline of the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception?
Wedding ceremony: 2:30 pm
Cocktail hour: 4:00 pm
Dinner and dancing: 5:30 pm- 10:00 pm
What is the dress code?
Please dress in cocktail attire.
Will the events of the day take place indoors or outdoors?
The wedding ceremony takes place inside the church. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served on the patio at Sterling Hills, followed by dinner and dancing inside.
Are my children invited?
Your invitation will list who is invited to the wedding and reception.
May I bring a guest?
Your invitation will list who is invited to the wedding and reception.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes. There will be an open bar for the entirety of the reception.
May I take photos or videos during the ceremony and reception?
In order to preserve the sacredness of our wedding ceremony, please be discreet while taking photos or videos in the church. The reception is meant to be enjoyed by all; we welcome candid photos and videos and would love for you to share them with us.
Do you have a wedding registry?
Our registries are linked on our wedding website www.theknot.com/hagemann under the Registry tab. We are registered at Macy’s, Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn, and Amazon.
Should gifts be brought to the reception?
You are welcome to bring your gift to the reception. There will be a designated gift table as you enter.
