Caitlin & Matthew

Friday, April 5, 2024 • Saint Pete Beach, FL, USA

How did you meet?

This wasn't an online romance! Caitlin and Matt were set up by Rosie and Joe Silva. Rosie was in Caitlin's brother/sister-in-law's wedding party. Caitlin was recently single and very happily so, but Rosie insisted Caitlin had to meet her then boyfriend's friend, "McGoldrick." "He's amazing with kids...He's a lawyer...He lives in CT," she went on and on. Joe agreed the two needed to meet after witnessing Caitlin's crazy during the Burchill wedding weekend. McGoldrick and Caitlin met about a week later...and life has never been the same!

Why get married in Florida?

It's been a year of highs and lows for Caitlin and Matt. January 1st, 2023 was their most magical engagement at the lake by their new home. Just a couple of days later, Caitlin's dad was rushed to a hospital for what would be the start of 6 months of hell. Matt & Caitlin wanted a smaller wedding with their closest friends during the cold of Connecticut winter that felt like a vacation for everyone. Something to look forward to! Plus, the couple fell in love with the "Pink Palace" after hearing about a wedding there from a friend. They hope you feel the same way about the historic hotel during your stay!

Where is the wedding taking place?

The ceremony will be outdoors in the courtyard of the Don CeSar Hotel. The cocktail hour will be under a tent, overlooking the ocean on the hotel's terrace. The reception will be indoors in a room attached to the terrace. Guests can enjoy the outdoor terrace during that time too!

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony starts at 6:30pm sharp Friday. Please arrive before then to get your seat!

Is there a dress code?

Think tropical elegant & fun! Don't be shy, find your favorite colorful dressy outfit that fits our wedding's Florida, tropical vibe!!!

Will the ceremony be taking place indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will be taking place outdoors, pending Mother Nature! It could be very hot, so feel free to take off your blazer for a bit. We promise to keep the ceremony short & sweet!
