It was the Fall of 2022 when these two first locked eyes on each other...it was not love at first sight.

Caitlin was entering her third year at Ferris State University while Mitchell was entering his very first as a transfer junior. As they were both involved in the same campus ministry, they gradually built a friendship.

They originally bonded over their shared love of Jesus and similar beliefs, but as they spent more time together, they began to realize just how much they had in common. This was really solidified when they drove together for a trip to visit their friend's hometown in Illinois.

This trip is where Caitlin started to develop feelings for Mitchell, although she would NEVER admit that.

Over the next couple months, Mitchell and Caitlin started to grow closer. They hung out more and more often and made sure to be at all the same events. And then, on November 19th, Mitchell asked Caitlin on a date!

They went on their first date to an escape room on November 27th, started dating on December 11th, and the rest was history!

Mitchell and Caitlin spent their dating relationship going on dates to concerts, eating at their favorite restaurants, serving in their church and campus ministry, and most importantly, watching reality TV together.

Caitlin made it pretty clear that she was ready for Mitchell to pop the question, and on March 23rd, he finally did!

Now they get to plan a wedding...
