We met May 18, 2013 for the first time through friends of ours. We picked on each other the entire night, since we are both very sarcastic and enjoy giving people hard times. So ultimately we hit it off! The very next weekend I asked him to go on a trail riding trip with some of my friends and he said sure! I believe that said a lot about him and how we both kinda knew from the beginning that the spark between us was something different than either of us had experienced before. We had a great trip and every day since then we have had a blast.

Easter 2015, was just a normal holiday where we planned on spending time with each of our families. Started at my church, went to my mamaw's house, and ended at his house. When we got to Tyler's house everyone was just hanging out like they normally were, kids running around and the guys sitting in front of the tv. Tyler's sisters(Tonya and Angie) told me the kids wanted to hunt Easter eggs so we started preparing the eggs. All the real eggs were worth different amounts of money; 25 cents, 50 cents, 1 dollar and one 3 dollar egg. I was put in charge of hiding those eggs and if you know me well you know I am very particular with a lot of things in life and hiding eggs is one of those things. I wandered around trying to locate the perfect spots to hide the money eggs, not paying attention to anything but that. As soon as I finished and we started to walk back towards the house, Tyler came up behind me and handed me a purple egg and told me to open it. Immediately I was on high alert, I looked into the egg and one half said "I went to Jared's" and the other said "will you..." I looked up and he had gotten down on one knee holding another egg that was see-through with a little white box inside. He simply said "will you marry me?" and of course I said "Yes!" Still in shock of what just had happened all I knew to do was to hug him....forever!
