[Caitlin’s take]

Chad and I first met when he interviewed me for a server position at Ceviche in Alpharetta, GA - he was the Front House Manager and I was full on googly eyes over him. I think if memory serves me well, I left the interview and promptly texted my best friend, “Super cute guy works here omg I’m going to date him!!!” and that was that.

I spent the following several weeks at work (yes, I got the job) letting every hostess, server, bartender and beyond know that I had every intention of dating Chad. He and I casually flirted at the expo window; I’d make friendly visits to the back office just to chat, and I even invited my parents to come and eat at Ceviche so they could meet the man I’d been borderline stalking for weeks.

Almost ten weeks after being hired, I asked Chad to join a group of servers and myself on a night out in the city - he declined, which really threw me because I thought we were starting something, but that’s only because he wanted to go out solo. The following night, he asked me out for drinks after work and the rest is, quite frankly, history.

I sat down to a Monday interview and looked up and Caitlin was there. I knew she was trouble the moment I laid eyes on her ;-).

Our work interview quickly turned into a conversation about each others’ lives, families, interests, and the directions we saw ourselves heading. Our chemistry was established in that moment and my life was forever changed. For the next 10 weeks, I did everything I could to stave off her passes and attempts to get me out in a social setting. After all, I was trying to keep it professional.

But Caitlin, here’s the thing about Caitlin - she’s intelligent, absolutely stunning, and devilishly persistent.

Near the end of April 2017, she had finally broken me down. I couldn’t resist wanting to get closer to her, getting to know her better, and pursuing a relationship with her. I finally decided to cross the line and ask her to have a drink after work one evening...
