Caitlin and Eric’s journey began in March of 2018 when Caitlin asked to go fishing with Eric—but quickly rethought the idea and suggested dinner instead. Eric chose La Fiesta, a local Mexican restaurant, and from that night on, the two have been inseparable.

Their shared adventure includes everything from life on a floating home to buying their first duplex, and eventually settling on their dream farm in Colton. Over the years, they’ve created countless memories together, enjoying fun trips, hobbies like fishing and hunting, and learning to raise animals on their farm. They’re always taking on new projects together, and each one has brought them closer.

At the Colton Fire Auction Dinner, Caitlin had her heart set on winning round-trip tickets to return to Mexico. When she won, Eric knew immediately that this would be the perfect place for his proposal.

A year later, they took that trip to Mexico, and in front of Señora de Guadalupe, the famous church Caitlin had visited as a child with her family, including her late grandfather, Eric proposed. It was a moment that they will cherish forever, made even more special with the help of their wonderful friends, Kendall and Austin—who just so happen to be their “professional” photographers!

During their time in Mexico, they visited Sayulita and instantly fell in love. From the vibrant streets decorated for Día de los Muertos to the beach, the food, and the zippy golf carts, they knew without a doubt that this was the place they wanted to get married.

Now, 7 years later, it’s finally happening!! After years of adventures, a farm, and many memories, Caitlin and Eric are excited to share this next chapter with their closest family and friends. They’ve always dreamed of an intimate wedding, not just a single day of celebration, but an unforgettable experience for everyone. They want their loved ones to have the opportunity to explore, relax, and enjoy everything Sayulita has to offer, while creating lasting memories in this beautiful town.
