It's a little unlikely that a boy from the suburbs of Chicago and a girl from California would find their way to each other. But after having attended several of the same events without actually meeting, Matt’s love of the Cubs and an extra ticket from Taylor (Maid of Honor) finally brought Caitlin and Matt together. There had been some previous hints given (see above photo), but one night at Wrigley was all it took and Matt was smitten. A couple months later, at the classiest establishment Matt knew, Sluggers Bar in Wrigleyville, they made it official and their love story began.

Since then, Matt has introduced Caitlin to the important things in life, such as Fighting Illini basketball and breweries with hazy IPA’s. Caitlin has introduced Matt to the finer things in life, such as wine tasting and literary masterpieces, including Harry Potter. Together they have travelled the world and had countless adventures. But they can’t wait for their greatest adventure yet, which begins August 24, 2024!
