April 22, 2018: Matt sent the first message to Cate on a dating site.

April 26, 2018: With the help of some liquid courage, Cate asked when the first date will be. Matt gets to work planning.

April 28, 2018: Matt and Cate met in New Hope, PA for a day date. Cate is so nervous that she shows up 2 hours early. They spent the day walking around the small town and had dinner at Triumph Brewery. Cate asked Matt to get ice cream in hopes of extending the date.

May 5, 2018: After 3 dates, Matt asked Cate to be his girlfriend. Facebook Official!

Two years of making memories, laughing, and lots of Flyers games!

August 14, 2020: After both sold their homes, Cate and Matt bought their forever home together in Maple Shade, NJ.

August 7, 2021: Matt took Cate back to New Hope, PA for winery hopping and dinner. Before they went into dinner, Matt took Cate to the spot outside of the brewery where they first met each other over 3 years ago. With Cate's parents as photographers, Matt got down on one knee and asked Cate to be his wife.
