Caitlin &amp; Sean met their freshman year of college in November of 2012. The two of them spent their first 3 months of college not knowing that their forevers were just one floor away. The two both resided in Oak Hall at the University of Pittsburgh - Johnstown. Sean majored in Marketing &amp; Caitlin, at the time, was majoring in Pre-pharmacy. The two had no classes together, but Sean had several classes with Caitlin's roommate. Caitlin's roommate often spoke of Sean, but the two of them did not meet until one very special Friday night at a party. When Caitlin's roommate introduced Caitlin to Sean &amp; his friend group their responses consisted of making comments around the several times they were in Caitlin's room with her roommate and every single time, Caitlin was rolled over, facing the opposite way, sleeping. You see, Caitlin spent a lot of time napping, as her course load was very challenging, so she spent many nights up late &amp; mornings started early with her 7:30 a.m. classes. Most stereotypical love stories talk about "love at first sight", but for these two, that was not the case. In fact, Sean was much more interested in Caitlin than Caitlin was in Sean. Sean was very persistent in his pursuit and would text Caitlin often and ask her to meet up for lunch in the cafeteria. The two started to hang around one another more and more often and eventually Caitlin just cracked. She can't pinpoint the exact moment where she decided to give Sean a chance, but she is certain that the feelings were built on a strong foundation of chicken patty sandwiches &amp; Gatorade in the cafeteria on Sunday mornings after long Friday &amp; Saturday nights of shenanigans. Caitlin &amp; Sean became official in February 2013. Neither can remember the exact date, so they just kill two birds with one stone and celebrate their anniversary on Valentine's Day. Their relationship was pretty simple throughout Freshman &amp; Sophomore year, but things became much more difficult when Caitlin decided to move back home and attend the University of Pittsburgh in Oakland. The next two years were a lot of work. The two of them spent their weekends taking turns travelling to each other. This was very difficult because the two of them went from essentially living together and seeing each other every single day, to seeing each other only on the weekends (if the Johnstown weather cooperated). There were ups and downs, but looking back, it made the couple stronger than ever. Sean graduated in May of 2016 &amp; moved back home with his parents. Caitlin had switched majors, so she did not graduate until December of 2016. During this time, the two were working/going to school during the week &amp; they would spend the weekends together. The couple finally moved in together in April of 2017 and for the first time since 2014, the two did not need to drive 40+ minutes to see each other. After just a few short months of living together, the two decided to take the next big step.... they purchased the absolute love of their lives...Georgie! Georgie has taught Sean &amp; Caitlin responsibility, and he has brought out the motherly &amp; fatherly instincts within the two. Georgie continues to bless the two with some of their happiest moments together as family. Fast forward several beautiful years of lots of laughs, little tears (both happy &amp; sad), tons of plane rides to explore so many new places, career changes, promotions, celebrations, disappointments, making some new friends &amp; moving on from some old friends, it wasn't until April 22, 2022 that Sean FINALLY decided to pop the question to Caitlin. Sean popped the question to Caitlin on Mt. Washington and it completely took Caitlin by surprise. He cried, she cried, and she immediately said, "Yes! Yes! Yes!". They knew immediately that they wanted to get married in their "happy place"... also known as Siesta Key. The two have been taking annual trips there since May of 2019 and they absolutely love it there. They are so excited to FINALLY tie the knot &amp; celebrate their love story in their happy place on October 24, 2024, surrounded by all of the amazing people that have been apart of their story!

Our Highlights

Felicia is Caitlin's eldest sister. There is a 12 year age difference between the two, therefore Caitlin started off her life as Felicia's real life baby doll. Fortunately (for Caitlin), not too long after, Caitlin outgrew Felicia in height/weight. Due to the age difference, Caitlin & Felicia didn't really become friends until around 2014 when Caitlin invited herself to move in with Felicia & her husband (Justin). You see, Caitlin had transferred from Pitt Johnstown to Pitt Main Campus & Felicia had a spare bedroom that was calling her name. The rest is history. Felicia is one of the few of Caitlin's "people" & has always been an amazing role model to Caitlin. They bond over champ champ (champagne), all things P-I-T-T, and travelling. The two of them are forever vacation buddies and there are so many more memories to be made. Felicia will definitely bring the organization and champ champ to the wedding day.

Felicia Loftis

Stacie is Caitlin's middle sister. While the two of them have a 7 year age difference, they have spent their whole lives sharing birthday cakes since their mom decided to have them 7 years and ONE day apart. The two of them also spent a majority of their childhood sharing a bedroom & not wanting to share anything else. In particular, the two refused to share the TV remote, the ethernet cable, their mom, or anything else that could not physically be split into two. Caitlin & Stacie became close when Caitlin went two hours away to college. It's funny how absence makes the heart grow fonder. Stacie has a special place in Caitlin's heart because she has brought two amazing little girls into her life and for that, Caitlin has so much appreciation for Stacie. Caitlin & Stacie bond over the early 2000's punk rock hitlists and sometimes will even have late night karaoke sessions via FaceTime. Stacie will surely bring a great playlist and all the sass on the wedding day.

Stacie Smith

Kelly is Felicia's Aunt, BUT Caitlin's bonus Aunt. Caitlin became close to Kelly during her high school years when she would tag along with Felicia to go swimming at Kelly's. Kelly instantly became one of Caitlin's favorite people when she introduced her to garlic & EVOO marinated grilled hotdogs. Kelly is one of Caitlin's forever travel buddies and they love to share a bottle (or two) of champ champ (champagne). Most of their time together is spent in a paradise, by the pool or on the beach, where Caitlin uses copious amounts of SPF 50 sunscreen, while still trying to get as tan as Kelly. The only turmoil their relationship has ever seen is that Caitlin is jealous she will never be as tan as Kelly. Kelly will definitely bring all of the moral support & smiles to the wedding day. 

Kelly Blair

Nikki & Caitlin met in January of 2017 when Caitlin started her career at Ernst & Young. Nikki quickly took on the role of being Caitlin's "big sister" at work. Nikki spent most of their first year of friendship answering Caitlin's slew of tax related questions (and trying to alleviate several anxiety attacks in between those questions), as Caitlin attempted to navigate her first year at a Big Four accounting firm. In fact, Caitlin often refers to Nikki as her "life coach".  Caitlin is fairly certain she would not have made it through that first tax season without Nikki. Now that Caitlin has found her way around a Trust Tax return, their friendship now mostly consists of lots of laughs, bonding over the love of their pups, creating lots of memories to last a lifetime, and a healthy number of adult beverages. Nikki will definitely bring the bourbon & life coaching to the wedding day!

Nikki Klobinchur

Angie is Caitlin's cousin who is only a few months younger than her. The two of them grew up as thick as thieves even though they spent a majority of their lives several states apart. There were never enough miles between the two of them to put a halt to their constant shenanigans.  Growing up, they spent a lot of their time fighting hard, but laughing even harder right after the bickering ended. Some of their worst fights were over having a crush on the same boy & who was going to get to wear the Little Mermaid sports bra and shorts to bed. When the two girls weren't fighting, they would karoke and put together skits to perform in front of their parents. As you can see, neither of the two ended up in the entertainment industry! Ang was Caitlin's very first best friend and for that, Caitlin is so happy Angie will be apart of her big day. Ang will definitely bring the karaoke & childhood nostalgia to the wedding day.

Angie Sciarretti

Emma is Caitlin & Sean's very first niece. Emma is 9 years old & LOVES to dance. Caitlin often refers to Emma as her "first little love" and Emma refers to Caitlin & Sean as "TT Cait & Uncle Stone". Caitlin loves Emma so much, that Emma has managed to be one of very few people who can actually make Caitlin cry. In fact, Caitlin cannot watch Emma dance on stage at her recitals and competitions without blubbering like a baby. Caitlin is fairly certain that water-proof mascara was created specifically for Aunts who are blessed enough to have nieces. Emma is going to be teaching Uncle Stone how to dance in time for the wedding, so make sure you have your video cameras ready. Emma is sure to bring the most energy  and rhythm to the dance floor on the wedding day.

Haidyn is Caitlin & Sean's last, BUT not least, niece. Haidyn is 4 years old & is as sassy as they come. Caitlin refers to Haidyn most days as "Hai Bae or Curly Sue" & Haidyn refers to Caitlin & Sean as "TT Cait & "Uncle Stone". Haidyn & Caitlin bond over the fact that they can say a thousand words by just using their eyes. If you've ever been around these two, you know what is meant by "crazy eyes". Caitlin swears that Haidyn gives the best little hugs and that she make you forget about anything bad in the world when she wraps her little arms around you. Caitlin doesn't like to admit it, but she may have created a little monster as recently Haidyn requested "pink diamonds" for her ears. Haidyn will bring the bling and crazy eyes on the wedding day.

Haidyn Smith

Justin is Caitlin's sister's husband. Both Sean and Justin met when Sean was first introduced to Caitlin's family back in 2013. Sean and Justin quickly formed a great bond. They both enjoy many similar things that include playing golf, watching sports,  sipping numerous new kinds of alcoholic beverages, smoking high end cigars and being expert sports gamblers.  When they aren't beating their significant others at cornhole on a weekly basis, they enjoy going to Pitt football games during the fall, as well as going on yearly vacations together. When it comes to the most memorable time with Justin, there are far to many to list and some not PG rated for this wedding page. What Sean cherishes the most is the time spent with Justin and family on the yearly vacations, specifically Siesta Key, FL. They have been going there almost yearly for quite a few years now. It is always the best time renting an ocean front house and enjoying each others company. Hence, why Sean and Caitlin chose Siesta Key to get married! Justin will bring his mixology skills and expertise to the wedding, but don't ask him to make anything on the wedding day, as Justin (nicknamed Ricardo) will be off duty celebrating Sean and Caitlin. Catch him earlier in the week, as he will gladly mix you up something strong.

Justin Loftis

Josh is the boyfriend/baby daddy (Yes, boyfriend/baby daddy. Always hard to explain that one. Josh, better get to ring shopping soon) of Caitlin's middle sister Stacie. Upon meeting Josh, he and Sean quickly had a great bond that ranges from sports, concerts, beer drinking and all of the above combined.  Being that they get along so well, it sometimes leads to bad temptations (multiple Jagar bombs), but always in good fun. Sean's most memorable time with Josh is the picture shown for a country concert where many drinks were had (but not too many) and drinks may have been spilled on others attending the concert (wasn't me). Josh will definitely bring his beer chugging skills and loud voice to the wedding.

Josh Smith

Garrett and Sean have been best friends since their days back in middle school. They first met during middle school soccer and both played on the same team through high school. They shared the bond of also lifting at the local YMCA together, where they got extremely jacked and strong.  One memory that the two share that is unforgettable is the time when Garrett and Sean were sitting on the bench during a high school soccer game (warmed the bench many games together) when Garrett out of nowhere called out the coaches son for not running. The coach turned around and screamed at the top of his lungs "SHUT UP, SHUT THE F***k UP". Needless to say, Garrett didn't get subbed in that game. Garrett often known for his aggressiveness in sports and usually causing fights in either Dek hockey or indoor soccer will definitely have your back if someone needs kicked out of the wedding (Let's hope not). 

Garrett Bellis

Mike (Warch) and Sean have been best friends since their days back in highscool. They both grew up only a few streets apart and played soccer together from youth until high school, but never developed a close friendship until their days in high school. Both  attended the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and roomed together their freshmen year. During Mike's limited time at UPJ, one of Sean's most memorable memories of Mike occurred. During a college frat party, campus police were called to the party to break it up. There were many people in the frat house and once the police came in, Sean and his other college roommates were looking for Mike to get him and sneak out the back door. After calling his name and Mike nowhere to be found, a 50 gallon trash can falls over where Mike is seen crawling out (multiple witnesses).  Mike will bring his Pitt pride and if Sweet Caroline is played, he will lead the way singing the song loudly. 

Mike Warchol

Sean and Donald have been best friends since they were roughly 4 years old. They  first met when they played youth soccer for their town of Monongahela, where both their fathers coached them (if that's what you want to call coaching). From then on, they always would hangout at each others houses, as they lived only a few streets walking distance apart. Growing up together provided great memories and nothing will ever top the time they threw snowballs off a hillside that hit a truck and they sprinted for their lives when the truck driver got out and threatened to end their lives. Donald will bring the sports talk knowledge that will keep the yinzer spirit going, even in Florida.

Donald Fakner

Josh and Sean have been best friends since they were 5 years old. They first met at one of their fellow groomsman's (Donald) birthday parties. Growing up, they played baseball together in youth leagues, all stars, high school and legion. The two shared similar passions for sports, video games and going to the South Park Wavepool (Girls). There are countless stories these two could tell, but one that is unforgettable is the time during their elementary school days when Sean and Josh were playing basketball at recess. Josh tripped over Sean's foot landing on his arm and breaking it. Sean asked Josh if he was ok and Josh said "It's fine, it just bends that way", as his arm looked like the letter Z. Josh will bring his upbeat attitude and will also try and persuade you to take a loan out through him as his banking job.
