We are excited to welcome you to The Indian Creek Nature Center in Cedar Rapids, IA for our wedding festivities. Our ceremony will take place at the outdoor amphitheater, located less than a 5-minute walk from the parking lot. If you are needing a ride up to the amphitheater, please arrive early, as golf cart rides will be available. Our reception will immediately follow the ceremony. Please note that we hope to hold our wedding outdoors in the woods and our reception indoors at the Nature Center

The Nature Center provides parking; however, the venue is in a wooded area roughly a 12 minute drive from most accommodations. For the safety and convenience of our guests we have arranged for a shuttle from and returning to the Doubletree by Hilton. The shuttle will make multiple trips back and forth throughout the night.

We have set up a hotel block with the Doubletree by Hilton in Downtown Cedar Rapids, IA. The Doubletree is located a few blocks away from our welcome reception on Friday and offers a shuttle to the Indian Creek Nature Center on Saturday. Please note that there are other great accommodations in the area including rentals available through Airbnb and VRBO. For September in Iowa - we have to be weather flexible - but consider clothing like slacks, dress shirts, optional ties/jackets, nice dresses, sundresses, dressy skirts, etc. We recommend wearing shoes that can handle uneven terrain, and you may want to bring a light jacket for after sunset.
