It all started when Tyler sent a friend request to Caitlin on Instagram. Tyler and Caitlin both attended the University of Memphis. Caitlin decided to accept the friend request. Months later, Tyler posted a story on Instagram. It showed his mother, Nancy, at a local Mexican restaurant with the caption "Wish my mom a happy birthday!" Caitlin responded and said, "Tell your mom happy birthday for me!" From there, Caitlin and Tyler privately messaged each other on Instagram. Caitlin was very upfront about being friends. Tyler agreed. They would then start to text each other and Google Duo eventually almost every night. Tyler asked Caitlin if she wanted to go to dinner. She agreed. They went to Memphis Pizza Cafe on Park Ave. Caitlin was impressed with Tyler's southern hospitality and manners. That night, Tyler drove Caitlin around Memphis to continue to talk for hours and meet his fraternity brother, Nolan at off-campus housing. After they both graduated, Tyler asked Caitlin to be his girlfriend. They were inseparable after that. Their time together was filled with adventure, laughter, joy, and blessings. Within two years, Tyler bought his first home in Bartlett. They joined Bellevue Baptist Church shortly after that. Tyler and Caitlin would travel together with friends and family over the years to new places around the USA. They dated for 3.5 years before Tyler proposed to Caitlin on the family beach trip in Destin on August 19, 2024. Tyler and Caitlin adopted Mochi and Khloe the same year. Tyler and Caitlin can't wait to begin this next chapter as husband and wife.
