Braden Joel Drever and Caitlin Marie Houk met October 6th 2019. When we first met Braden had just gotten out of a long term relationship and Caitlin was spending all of her time working and hanging out with her best friend Shelly(Braden’s cousin). Braden came to visit Shelly’s family and we all went to an OSU game together! A friendship had started and we were talking long after Braden went home to Canada. After getting to know one another and talking almost everyday we decided that we truly cared for each other. We dated all the way up until Covid hit and the borders closed and then we were no longer able to visit each other. We made the hard decision to break up since we were never able to see each other. After Covid had calmed way down and the borders opened back up it didn’t take long for us to find each other again and knowing that we deeply loved each other we decided to make it work! Braden got a travel visa and came to live with the wonderful Southard’s who took him in so generously, to see if we could make it living in the same place. Towards the end of his time we did decide that we absolutely never wanted to be apart again and so Braden proposed. Braden lives here in Ohio now and we are so excited to celebrate our love with our whole family on our special day! We hope to see you all there to join our families.
