Saugatuck Dunes Park is the perfect way to get in a little exercise and take in the beautiful Michigan lakeshore! The park is located next to our reception venue and offers wooded trails that lead out to the lakeshore.
Oval Beach - 690 Perryman St, Saugatuck, MI 49453
This is a very popular beach in the area and offers easy access to the lakeshore. Parking is $10/day. Restrooms and a snack shop are available onsite. Please be aware that parking does fill up on holiday weekends and may not be available later in the day. Fun fact: Caitlin spent her summers working at this beach growing up!
Douglas Beach - 3099 Lakeshore Dr, Douglas, MI 49406
This is a nice smaller beach with a smaller set of stairs that leads out to the lakeshore. Parking is free, but only a hand full of spots are available and it fills up fast! If you are unable to find parking, take a drive down Lakeshore Drive to take in the beautiful views!
Laketown Beach - 6710 142nd Ave. Holland, MI 49423
This beach is a local secret and offers beautiful views for anyone willing to climb 350 wooden stairs up and over the dunes to the beach. Parking is free, but no restrooms are available onsite. This was one of Caitlin's favorite beaches to visit growing up.
Holland State Park - 2215 Ottawa Beach Rd, Holland, MI 49424
This beach is located on the North side of Holland and offers views of the famous "Big Red" lighthouse. It is located along the channel connecting Lake Macatawa to Lake Michigan and the perfect spot to watch boats. Parking is $9 for the day. Restrooms and a snack shop is available onsite.
Tunnel Park - 66 N, Lakeshore Ave, Holland, MI 49424
This is another beach located on the north side of Holland. Walk through a tunnel leading you through a dune to reveal Lake Michigan. Parking is $8 for the day and restrooms are available onsite.
