Caitlin and Tod’s paths crossed at the University of Victoria, where Caitlin was in her second year and Tod was in his fourth year. By a fortunate twist of fate, they found themselves in the same classroom.

After talking for over a month before and after classes, Tod asked Caitlin out on their first date.

Five months after they started dating, Tod accepted a role as a Probation Officer and relocated to Vanderhoof for his career. Meanwhile, Caitlin continued her studies in Victoria, marking the start of their long-distance relationship.

Despite the 982 km separating them, Caitlin & Tod celebrated their 1st dating anniversary!

Two years after moving to Vanderhoof, Tod transferred to the Lower Mainland to continue his career as a Probation Officer. By this time, Caitlin had finished her education at the University of Victoria and also returned to the Lower Mainland, reuniting with Tod.

Caitlin & Tod moved in to a one bedroom apartment in New Westminster and started their life together.

After many local road trips and exploring various parts of British Columbia, Caitlin & Tod set off for some relaxation to Tulum, Mexico, being their first international vacation together. They returned just in time as the world started to shut down because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Caitlin & Tod went on a weekend getaway to Vancouver Island. It was a beautiful day with the sun shining when Tod got down on one knee and asked Caitlin to spend forever with him.

After enjoying life in their cozy one-bedroom apartment, Caitlin and Tod relocated to a high-rise just a short stroll away. Perched on the 11th floor, they were captivated by the views of New Westminster.

Caitlin & Tod moved to North Delta to live with Tod’s brother Lee and his son Jayden. The beginning of the “Full House” family began. They are often found exploring local trails, playgrounds, and watching never endless episodes of “Paw Patrol.”

A decade since Tod asked Caitlin out on a date, they celebrated their 10-year dating anniversary!

Caitlin and Tod are filled with anticipation to share the joy of their wedding day with loved ones. Soon, they will step into a new chapter of life as Mr. & Mrs. Taylor.
