Why: Kyle's favorite superhero is Spiderman! Both Caitlin and Kyle enjoy watching movie and tv shows in the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) together.

Table 2 - Manatee (Florida)
Why: This represents our Florida trip during Spring Break 2023. Caitlin is obsessed with manatees and they got to go swimming with them! Oh yeah, this is also the trip where Kyle proposed!

Table 3 - Mexico
Why: Their first major vacation was to go to Playa del Carmen, Mexico! They thoroughly enjoyed staying at an all-inclusive resort and seeing the sights and relaxing. A highlight was going scuba diving and coming across a large sea turtle!

Table 4 - Firefly
Why: A favorite tv show they have both watched together. They dressed as Kaylee and Simon as their first Halloween couples costume together!

Why: Our first date was at a barcade downtown!

Table 6 - Orangutan
Why: Kyle's favorite animal. The Indianapolis Zoo has a great center for orangutans and Kyle can recognize and name all of them.

Table 7 - Our House
Why: We love our house! We bought it in May 2023 and put the original offer in shortly after returning from getting engaged. It had everything we were looking for - four bedrooms, a fenced in yard, and a finished basement. Our basement is perfect for hosting game nights! We hope you get to check it out tomorrow at our brunch!

Table 8 - Our Dogs
Why: Mikey and Apollo are our furbabies! We both love them dearly! They are both foster failures (Caitlin has finally accepted that she is not capable of just fostering a dog). Apollo was adopted by Caitlin in April 2020 and Caitlin and Kyle adopted Mikey immediately after returning from getting engaged.

Table 9 - Buffy
Why: This is one of Caitlin's favorite tv shows. She was shocked to find that Kyle had never watched all of the seasons. Last year they watched all of the seasons and finished by dressing as Buffy and Spike for a Halloween couples costume.

Table 10 - New York City
Why: For Spring Break this year, Caitlin and Kyle traveled to New York City (for Kyle's first time!) Caitlin loves musicals and specifically wanted to see two of her favorite actors (Aaron Tveit and Sutton Foster) in a show. We also enjoyed finding a few cool speakeasy style bars.

Table 11 - Meeple
Why: I don't know if you can tell but Kyle and Caitlin like board games. The meeple is one of the iconic symbols associated with modern board games, often with games that involve worker placement. We hope you get a chance to play some games tonight!

Table 12 - DnD
Why: Kyle enjoys playing DnD and recently has been the DM for a group that occasionally plays at our house. In his old group, he played a character that was a bard.
