Where is the wedding taking place?
The wedding venue is The Signet Library. This is on Parliament Square beside St Giles Cathedral.
What time should I arrive?
For our all day guests we recommend arriving at 13:30. This allows time for you to greet the groom and groomsmen and to find a seat before the bride arrives.
For evening guests we invite you to attend the venue for 19:30 to join us for some refreshments before the dancing starts.
What is the dress code?
Black Tie - Tartan is also accepted gentleman.
Can I bring a plus one?
We kindly ask that those named on the invitation are in attendance.
We are unable to accommodate those who are not named on the invitation.
Can I bring my kids?
As much as we love your little ones this is an adult only event.
Can I take photos during the wedding?
We kindly ask that you put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony. After the ceremony you are welcome to take photos from the day.
We kindly ask that you don't share any photos online of the bride and groom until they have done so.
Is there any accommodation at the venue?
There is no on-site accommodation at The Signet Library but there is plenty nearby.
Will there be transport provided?
There is no transport provided. However, the Signet Library is located in the city centre and is easily accessible by public transport or by taxi.
There is no parking available for guests.
Is there a registry for gifts?
Your presence is a gift enough. We’re lucky enough to already have a home full of love, but if you wish to give us a gift, we would greatly appreciate a contribution toward our future together.
