In 2020, during a year full of unexpected twists, we found something truly special. It all started with a swipe right on Bumble, and what followed was the beginning of a story we never saw coming. From our very first conversation, we could tell there was something different about each other. It wasn’t long before we decided to meet in person, and our first date was at Miguel’s, a spot that would forever be etched in our hearts.

We talked so much that night, sharing stories and laughter, that we completely forgot to order food! It was one of those moments where time flew by, and all we could do was enjoy the conversation and the spark between us. Our passion for video games became one of the first things we bonded over. Whether we were exploring the post-apocalyptic world of The Last of Us, getting lost in the historical landscapes of Assassin's Creed, or catching 'em all in Pokémon, gaming became a way for us to connect.

As the months passed, we realized that we were more than just partners in games, food, and Pokémon—we were partners in life. Whether we were tackling quests together or simply enjoying a quiet night in, we found joy in the simple, everyday things. We also love winding down with our favorite movies, bonding over films like 300 and Star Wars. It’s the small moments, like debating which movie character we’d each be or cozying up together for a binge-watch, that make us feel even more connected. Date nights often involve trying new foods. When we’re not out exploring new restaurants, we’re in the kitchen cooking up our own creations. Cooking together is one of our favorite ways to bond and make delicious memories.

Through all of these things, one of the things we value most is how much we support each other. We encourage each other, challenge each other, and help each other grow. Whether it’s pursuing personal goals, facing challenges, or celebrating the little victories, we’ve always been there for each other.
