Our story begins a tad different than most and has become our little fairytale, most importantly… now, we get to share it with you.

Caitlin O’Toole and Thomas Haug hailing from two different islands, Long Island being the best, Staten Island, eh… not so bad… through fate and difficult times got to experience that in life, things happen for a reason. When things look dim, there's always a silver lining.

On December 14th 2022 in the Wine Vault of Cipriani, Wall Street Thomas sat and held Caitlin’s hand as they were talking about their surroundings, the life they built together, how fond Serafina and Sorley were to have Caitlin in their lives and what the year ahead looked like, when Caitlin observed a distressed leather seat, she made a comment “you would think there wouldn’t be a torn chair in this vault” which prompted Thomas’s response “sometimes not everything in life is perfect, things have blemishes, imperfections and flaws, just like relationships but that’s what makes life beautiful, just like you” just then, Thomas took Caitlin’s hand, dropped to one knee and asked Caitlin to spend forever and a day by his side, Caitlin gladly accepted as tears of joy rolled down her face. Today we hold those memories and lessons dear to our hearts, especially the memories we have created with “the girls” Serafina and Sorley.

Over the past couple of years we have not only grown together as a couple but we have grown together as a family, so much so that Serafina chose our wedding date. As we drive 600 miles a week on the Belt Parkway to parent, we have found time for work, to look at homes, build a life together, travel and yes… enjoy good wine and music… we often reference one of our favorite sayings “The wind may be unpredictable, but our love will always steer us in the right direction.”

In conclusion, we very much look forward to having you by our side to share in a special day, creating memories to last a lifetime.
