After Caitlin moved to Addison, TX from Las Vegas, NV in May of 2022 she was able to reconnect with her college best friend, Kelsey. Caitlin and Kelsey had their first girl's night out in a few years, and decided Electric Cowboy was a fun place to go. What started as a fun girl's night at a country line dance bar, ended with an unexpected meeting that started with a dance.

After a hard work week, Jack was ready to celebrate his birthday with Sean and a group of friends. Arriving to Electric Cowboy later in the evening, Jack let loose on the dancefloor and was enjoying a birthday with friends. Sean pulled Jack over with him, and they decided to ask 2 ladies to dance.

As Sean walked with Kelsey to the dancefloor, Jack worked to convince Caitlin to dance as well. Through the nervousness, Caitlin excitedly accepted and had her first dance with the first man who's ever asked for a dance.

As they danced, a connection formed and they found themselves wanting to reconnect throughout the night. The last dance came to an end, and they continued their stories and laughs off the dancefloor. Before Caitlin and Kelsey left for the night, Caitlin gave her number to Jack not thinking too much would come from it (though hoping the connection she felt was mutual).

The next morning, Caitlin sent a text that started what would turn-out to be a lifelong conversation. As Jack responded, the messages became longer and the connection grew deeper. Two weeks later, Jack and Caitlin went on their first date. After what was supposed to be a couple hours turned into a 9 hour first date, it was clear that this was only the beginning.

10 months later, Jack proposed to Caitlin at their first home together under the pergola in their backyard with their closest friends and family there to watch. Now, it's time to celebrate the love and new life of Jack and Caitlin on November 10th!
