After months of Caitlin hearing about this man asking her friends about her and wanting to get to know her, it only made her more curious to know who he was. Finally, in May of 2024, Johnthomas worked the courage up to message her. He sent a sweet, small, simple message asking to get to know her because he thought she was beautiful. Caitlin was beyond flattered and wanted the same but definitely made him work hard for about a month or so, until she finally said yes to hanging out. Before hanging out, Caitlin was super nervous, but had a very good feeling about it. That night they sat in the car, at Lakeside gas station, for hours and hours (a night before they both had to work) and talked because neither wanted to leave. After that night, Caitlin and Johnthomas both knew they wanted see each other again. Their second date was at the track infront of Scottsboro Junior High School and even though they were walking, it was even better. From there on out, there was not a day they did not want to see each other and be in one another's presence. It was the best feeling either one had ever felt.

They knew, without a doubt, that they were meant to be together and they fell in love very hard, and very quick. That love and that feeling has not weakened since the first time ever meeting each other.

It was been nothing short of love, laughter, and happiness since day one. They can truly say they cannot wait to celebrate with God, friends and family and become one together.
