Marking the end of summer and the beginning of fall ’22, September 22 was not just an autumnal equinox but a special date for us. On this fateful day, our first date happened at The Cheesecake Factory in Burlington Mall. Caitlin’s feelings were a mixture of nerves and excitement; Kent’s on the other hand were prayerful, asking God to hopefully grant the “one.” And she was indeed.

Followed by frequent meet-ups at various date stops, we grew fond of each other. The Bruce Freeman Trail in Chelmsford stood out as a special place. Walking at this trail became a constant fun activity for us.

In the early stages of getting to know each other, we began walking the trail as strangers. Yet with each step we took, we were beginning to deeply become in sync. We were ending our walks at the trail after two hours each time with a profound knowledge and deep understanding of each other’s life stories, quirks, hopes, dreams and ambitions.

On October 12, 2022, we were officially in a loving, understanding relationship. Love found a way for us and it continues up to this day. Fast forward to our engagement on December 10, 2023 and we are now looking forward to sharing a life together. We are grateful for our family, friends and loved ones who have supported us in our journey.

October 19, 2024 – exactly two years will have passed since knowing each other. We remain steadfast in a love that binds, a love that nurtures and a love that grows for a family that we will be building together now and forever.
