The Beginning of a Love Story:

Cait and Mike met just before the COVID-19 pandemic on September 23, 2019, on a dating app called Clover. Cait had only been on the app for one afternoon... Mike was not as lucky. Mike paid $2 to chat with Cait because he had run out of free messages, and it ended up becoming the best $2 he had ever spent. They decided to meet in person for the first time just a few days later on 9/26. On their first date, they enjoyed mini golf at Monster Mini Golf and some delicious meals at the West Essex Diner. They then took a stroll around Floyd Hall (now known as Montclair Ice Arena) and by the lookout at Montclair State University (where Cait saw a shooting star!!) Afterwards, they headed to the Willowbrook Mall and stopped at Target because they didn't want the night to end. Cait and Mike ended their night singing Disney songs in the car at one in the morning. When they parted ways, they both knew this was the start of something special. By their second date at Liberty State Park, they made themselves official with a first kiss. Their intuitions were right- it was the start of their beautiful, exciting, and adventurous relationship.

As their relationship progressed, Cait and Mike developed a love for the outdoors, hiking, singing during long car rides, geocaching, enjoying the beach, watching and attending sports games, watching Disney movies, playing video games, attending and participating with the church in the Knights of Columbus and on committees, and volunteering their time in the community with the Totowa Fire Dept, the County Wide Emergency Response Team, the Woodland Park American Legion Auxiliary, and the Passaic County Detachment of the Marine Corps League.

Their Adventures: After winning tickets to meet Kyle Busch at the Daytona 500, Cait and Mike took an impromptu road trip to Florida and had the opportunity to meet up with family and geocache in several states.

The couple also traveled to Oklahoma and Hawaii for time with family and to be in a family wedding. The happy couple has visited 20 states during their adventures including:

NJ, NY, PA, CT, DE, MD, VA, WV, OH, KY, NC, SC, GA, FL, TN, AR, OK, TX, CA, HI, and Washington D.C. It is their goal to visit all 50 states, and to visit the beauty of other countries around the world.

The future:

The happy couple is excited to share their wedding day with family and friends and to start their newlywed adventure together. They have planned a magical honeymoon at Disney World, Florida.
