2020 had started off a normal year for both Aidan and Caitlyn. Both headed back to work after the holidays had passed. Dreading the travel back to endure the remainder of the brutal winter Northern BC had to offer. But now looking back, it was anything but brutal.

Caitlyn walked down the hall with her bags in tow and Aidan was walking in her direction. The curly afro, handle bars, and usher looking leather pants for some strange reason caught her eye. She texted her mom that night "There's a cute boy here"

It wasn't until a few weeks in when Caitlyn and Aidan finally spoke to each other on a night out in Fort St. John. After that they did not spend a single night apart. From constantly bugging each other about word pronunciation (east/west coast accents), to days off in Edmonton with friends, it was truly only the beginning.

Two dogs, a million moves, exploring the West and East coast, meeting each others amazing families and friends, a lot of work in between, sharing equal amounts of love for chicken pot pie, and just enjoying each others company.

Fast forward to a drive up the Cabot Trail and a stop at Cape Smokey lookout it was then that Caitlyn looked over and Aidan was on one knee, asking her to marry him ! The answer went something like this "Are you f****** kidding me, shut up, stop, you're lying, f*** off"

This isn't the most graceful or romantic story anyone has ever heard of but to Aidan and Caitlyn it is perfect. Every moment, every smile, every laugh, has brought them to the life they have built and continue to build. They are beyond excited to share a day with the people who mean the most to them.
