With a right swipe on Bumble in early 2021, Caitlyn made the first move commenting on Adam's need for a backpack on his bike. Conversation flowed and after some patient waiting (two long weeks) on Adam's end, a date to R1 Indoor Karting in Lincoln, RI sealed the deal for both of them and they have been inseparable ever since. Funnily enough, Caitlyn had dated one of Adam's brothers friend's during college. During that time, Caitlyn went to the Aurelio's house once and, according to Adam, he was ready to make a move then if she hadn't already been in a relationship. But it all came full circle years later.

2021 brought not only the blooming relationship, but 2 dogs, new cars, some wild adventures, and ended with Adam's first home which Caitlyn & Kiah quickly moved into with him and Odie. From that point on, the four created their own little family and knew that this is what was meant to be. Two and a half years in, the honeymoon phase never truly ended. They are each other's best friend and a truly thankful that they found the other one.

February 19, 2024 brought the next big move in their relationship when Adam finally proposed (even though most believed the two to be engaged/married already). On a beautiful Monday on the Kancamagus Highway in New Hampshire, Adam popped the question, much to Caitlyn's surprise. Tears followed as did the obvious 'yes' and now they cannot wait to celebrate the next part of their relationship with all their loved ones on 8.9.2025.
