How to get to the group campsites?

From Frisco, CO (From I-70 take Exit 203, Frisco/Breckenridge) travel 4 miles on Highway 9 through the town of Frisco, CO. Turn left on Swan Mountain Road and go about 3 miles to the Swan Mountain Recreation Area, the turn-off will be on your left. A dirt road leads to the campground.From Silverthorne/I-70 take Exit 205, Silverthorne/Dillon. Travel 4 miles east on Highway 6 through the town of Dillon, CO. Turn right on Swan Mountain road and drive 2 miles to Swan Mountain Recreation Area which will be on your right. A dirt road leads to the campground.

What accommodations does the group campsites have?

The campsites have bathrooms. No electric hookups or running water, although we will have a generator for emergencies and for the wedding reception lighting!

Commute time from DIA?

Around 2 hours, allow extra time to travel due to the possibility of heavy traffic.

Are kids allowed?

Yes, kiddos are welcome!

What weather should I dress for?

Dress in layers, the mountains tend to be on the cooler side, especially at night.

Are fires allowed?

Pay close attention to the fire restrictions in the area for this time period. Use this website for reference: https://www.fs.usda.gov

Can I drink and drive?

NO, please stay and camp if you decide to drink! Mountain roads are especially dangerous to drive on.. Otherwise we will personally find you arrangements for transportation.
