Unplugged Ceremony

We kindly ask for an unplugged ceremony—please put away phones and cameras and be fully present with us in this special moment. However, we would love for you to capture memories during the reception, so feel free to take and share photos then!

Dress Code

We kindly ask guests to dress in semi-formal attire, ideally in our wedding colors if possible. Examples include dresses, skirts, dress pants, or nice jeans—just no holes and no white, please! The celebration will take place on grass, so we recommend comfortable shoes and advise against heels.

Hotels or place to stay after the wedding

For those staying overnight, you’re welcome to bring a tent and set up after 10 PM. If you prefer other accommodations, there are several hotels available in the Harrisonville area.

Plus ones and children

We are delighted to celebrate this special day with our loved ones! Plus ones and children are more than welcome to join us in the festivities.

Wedding Registry

Your love and support mean the world to us! Instead of traditional gifts, we are asking for contributions toward our honeymoon. If you’d like to give, you can do so via Venmo: @Garrett-Streit-3, or with cash/check. For those who prefer a gift, we also have a small registry on Amazon with a few items.

Parking

Parking is available along the streets, but please avoid parking in any driveways or blocking driveways. A small shuttle will be provided to the ceremony location, though it is also within walking distance.

Outdoor Wedding

As our wedding will be outdoors, please dress accordingly and consider the weather.

Food

We’re excited to share that our reception will feature a delicious taco bar! After the cake cutting, enjoy a sweet treat at our dessert bar, and be sure to stick around for a fun late-night snack of s'mores.

Bar/Drinking

There will be an open bar offering a variety of beer and seltzers. You are also welcome to bring your own beverages if you prefer. Please drink responsibly and be mindful of your alcohol consumption. We want everyone to have a great time, but if alcohol becomes an issue, we may ask you to leave.

Cocktail Hour

There will be a short break between the ceremony and reception for family photos and a few special moments with the bride and groom during golden hour. While you wait, chips and salsa will be available for you to snack on and outdoor games!

Pond at the Venue

There is a small pond at the venue, and we kindly ask that everyone stay out of the water. Please refrain from swimming, fishing, or throwing anything into the pond. It is the responsibility of guests to supervise any children they bring in relation to the pond, as the homeowners are not liable for any accidents. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Question not here?

If you have any questions that aren’t covered here, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the bride. She’ll be happy to assist you!
