We would love to see our friends and family get dressed up with us! Our guest attire is "Winter Cocktail". The Olmsted will have a staffed coat check available for our guests.
Here is a quick AI summary of what that looks like:
"For a winter cocktail wedding, guests can expect a semi-formal dress code that's festive and elegant, but less formal than a black-tie event. Men typically wear suits with ties or a bow ties, while women can choose cocktail dresses, midi dresses, or elegant jumpsuits. Rich colors, jewel tones, and fabrics like velvet and sequins are also popular choices for winter cocktail attire."
We kindly request that you do not wear white or any color that is traditionally reserved for the bride.
When do I need to RSVP by?
We plan on sending invitations out closer to our wedding date. This section will be updated at that time.
Can I bring a plus one?
Due to limited space, we cannot accommodate additional guests. We can only allow the people named on the invitation. Your invitation will be made out to "{Your Name} & Guest" if a plus one has been given to you. When in doubt please ask!
Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means we are asking all phones and devices to be put away and turned off during the ceremony. We will have an amazing team of photographers and videographers to capture our special day. Additionally, given that we are having our ceremony in a church, please respect the holiness of the space. We want to ensure our guests are fully present during this special moment. However, please feel free to take as many pictures after the ceremony as you would like!
Are children invited?
We love your little ones! However, due to limited numbers we can only accommodate for the children named on your invitation. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!
What time should I arrive?
Our ceremony starts promptly at 4:30. We encourage you to arrive at least fifteen minutes early to find seating. If you arrive after the ceremony has started, please seat yourself at the back of the ceremony space.
Will there be an open bar?
We will have an open bar with a variety of drink options at our reception. We kindly ask that you drink responsibly.
What about parking?
Both St. Albert the Great and the Olmsted have paved lots reserved for their venues.
What hotel should we stay at?
Thank you for traveling in for our big day- we so appreciate it. See the travel tab for more details regarding hotels close to the venues.
