Picture it - 2009. Elon, North Carolina.

Caits and Nick meet for the first time while working at the same dive bar.

An awesome friendship grew out of days playing Dungeons & Dragons, getting blasted with an actual flamethrower, and studying all of the time... we swear.

Graduations came and went. The two kept in touch from a distance - Nick would send early cuts of his cartoon to Caits and she always made sure he knew how great she thought they were. An in person reunion wouldn't happen until...

Colorado 2015

Caits moved to Denver, Colorado, and she sought out Nick who she knew already lived in Breckenridge, Colorado. Up in the rocky mountains installing solar panels and taking family portraits at the ski resort.

A reunion turned into a date before either one of them realized. Before long, they shared an apartment in Denver and embarked on many adventures all over the country.

When it came time to get married, they just couldn't wait for the world to open back up and decided to go to the municipal building in October 2020. Afterwards, they celebrated with delicious burritos from Santiago's (IYKYK) and a walk around their neighborhood under the full moon. But, they would have to wait to REALLY celebrate with all their favorite people until....

Roanoke, Virginia 2025

Nick and Caits have found their dream home! Somewhere dogs can run free, they have room to start a small farm, (while still being close to a city), and most importantly - a special place where they could invite their friends and families to finally celebrate their union.
