One of our first pictures together after a basketball game where Cara cheered and Caleb announced. We started dating in February 2018.

Went to Caleb's senior prom together and had a great night dancing!

Caleb graduated high school. We spent the summer lifeguarding together at Adventure Bay and hanging out as much as possible before he headed off to college.

Helped move Caleb into college, attended many Iowa football games, and cherished weekends when he came home to visit!

Caleb came home to attend all of Cara's school dances including homecoming, winter formal, and prom!

Caleb had an internship the summer after his freshman year and lived at home. We went to several country concerts, hung out with friends, and soaked up the sun before becoming long distance again.

Back to school for Caleb and plenty more football games together. Shout out to Corey and Julie for the awesome tailgates!

The pandemic came during the spring of Cara's senior year. The school was able to schedule an outdoor graduation ceremony in the summer. She started nursing school in Fall of 2020 at the University of Iowa.

We went on a few trips within the year including Florida with friends in January 2021 and Mexico with Cara's family in June 2021.

Fall semester 2021 was Caleb's senior year and Cara's sophomore year. More trips during this time included Chicago in August 2021 and Indianapolis for the Big 10 championship in December 2021, both with Caleb's family.

Caleb graduated from the University of Iowa with his BSE in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Business Administration. He then started his sales engineering job in June 2022- present.

Took a trip together to San Diego where we went to Sea World, the zoo, a Padres baseball game, and went sightseeing. It was so much fun!

Cara started her junior year at Iowa while Caleb continued working mostly remote while still living in Iowa City.

Cara finished her junior year of college in May 2023. We traveled to Lake Okoboji with our good friends to celebrate Cara's birthday and the holiday weekend.

Traveled with the Barnett family to the Cayman Islands. We had professional family photos taken. Little did Cara know, she'd be getting proposed to 2 days later...

After almost five and a half years together, Caleb got down on one knee and asked Cara to spend forever with him. She was so surprised and said YES to the man of her dreams! Best day ever!!

Currently wedding planning and enjoying our engagement! Cara is finishing up her senior year at Iowa and graduated in May with her BSN. Caleb is continuing working his wonderful job as a sales engineer. We moved to Grimes and moved into our townhome!
