Our first interaction was playing sand volleyball at freshman orientation. We later went on a hike with a group of friends and found similarities in our love for music.

Our first official date was at a Christmas banquet.

August 12th, 2024, we took a hike up to the Chimney Rocks along the Appalachian Trail. We got up at four in the morning so we could be there before the sun came up. We made the hour and a half hike up as we watched the light start to peek over the horizon and through the trees. We watched the sun come up over the valley, and at the most colorful moment Caleb asked Meridith if she would would marry him. She said yes! We spent the rest of the morning enjoying the view and the beauty of God's creation.
