Caleb and Chloe's relationship began to flourish after they went strawberry picking. Though, a month later, Chloe had to move to Auburn, AL to participate in the Auburn University's Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) for 8 weeks. Before she left, Caleb and Chloe did not know how their relationship would hold up with the long distance and the relationship being so new. But, as the saying goes, distance makes the heart grow fonder, and that was certainly true in this case as well. On July 4th, 2022, Caleb asked Chloe to officially be his girlfriend.

About two weeks after Chloe moved back from Auburn, Caleb and Chloe had major puppy fever. So, they went to a few different animal shelters until they found the perfect little girl for them at the Toccoa-Stephens County Humane Society. A few weeks after that Caleb and Chloe took their girls to Pennsylvania to meet Caleb's family for the first time. Fast forward to December of 2022 Chloe graduated from college!

2023 was the year of travel for Caleb and Chloe. In January they went to a Steeler's game in Pittsburgh, PA. Then in April they went back to PA to celebrate Caleb's sister getting married! After new roommates, new jobs, new careers, loss of Chloe's wisdom teeth, and many camping trips later, we finally reach the best part of 2023...

While Caleb and Chloe were on a trip with Caleb's family to visit his sister and her husband, Caleb brought up the courage to ask the most important question of his life. Caleb proposed on December 30, 2023 in Lavaux, Switzerland. They have been loving life more abundantly since getting engaged, and are so excited for the next phase of life!
