Our Story
August 11, 2004
Caleb was born into a Christian Family. His Parents, William and Melanie Boles, were thrilled to have their first baby and prayed that He would grow to be a man of God who would love and serve Him.
May 30, 2005
Isabella was also born into a Christian Family. Her parents, David and Monica, and older sister, Micaela, received a new member in the Evangelistic clan with joy and prayed to God that she would dedicate her life to knowing Him and making Him known.

Caleb and his family began to Evangelize in Colorado Springs regularly; they would spend entire days handing out tracks, holding Bible verse signs, and preaching the Gospel on sidewalks outside of abortion clinics, parks, and plazas. Caleb loved the “Jesus Saves” sign because people either loved or hated it.

Isabella and her family served the Lord with Open Air Campaigners doing the Evangelistic work in Schools, Military Bases, parks, and plazas. Isabella started playing the “Redeemer drama” when she was 5 years old and would help around doing puppets, music for children, and painting sketchboard messages with her dad.

Although Caleb knew much of the Bible and was not ashamed of the Gospel, he didn’t know the Lord in an intimate and redemptive way. It was only when he was 16 years old that God began to speak to his heart. Caleb experienced immense joy and peace to know that God had made him his son, and on October 24, 2020, he was baptized in his church in Colorado.
By the grace of God when Caleb and his family moved to Cuenca, Ecuador, in 2023, his faith in the Lord significantly grew stronger. The Lord used his now Pastor, Isaías Velandia, to encourage and challenge him in his faith. Caleb is now secure in the hope that the Lord will never leave him but every day teach and guide him until the end, and help him grow in wisdom and have joy in the Lord.

Isabella, too, had evangelized her whole life but had no idea what the Gospel really meant. God had been very patient with her as she had continually rejected Him through the years. But one day, God softened her heart and brought her to her lowest point, where she understood her desperate need for a Savior. At the age of 12, on June 22, 2017, she cried out to the Lord, and He heard her voice and delivered her from all her troubles (Psalm 34:6). The Lord took away her heart of stone and flooded her with love and forgiveness for at the Cross he had ransomed her for himself.

Caleb (in a white hoodie) and Isabella (in a pink dress) met for the first time at their church in Cuenca. It was Isabella's first Sunday attending there. Although their initial conversation was a bit awkward, for Caleb, it was love at first sight. On the other hand, Isabella experienced a slower process; however, she remembers thinking that he was very handsome!

Very soon, both their families became best friends and partners in the evangelistic ministry. Without them realizing they spent an enormous amount of time together in church activities, evangelistic outreaches, dinners, movie nights, etc. They were “just friends” but everyone else (especially Sarah, Caleb’s 4-year old younger sister) started noticing that love was in the air.

The Proano and Boles families were excitedly gearing up for a missions trip across the country!
As everyone gathered to organize evangelistic supplies, both hopped in the car to pick up some items. It was during the car ride that Caleb mustered the courage to share his feelings with Isabella. By then, Isabella had noticed Caleb's kind-hearted nature and was starting to have feelings for him. The timing was just right! They both decided to start praying together, asking for the Lord's guidance as they explored the possibility of a future together.

As time went by Caleb and Isabella made an incredible team as they shared the Gospel together. For Isabella, who felt called to the ministry right after her conversion, it was amazing to witness Caleb’s journey as he also discovered his calling to the Evangelistic ministry!
It was evident that God was calling both of them to serve Him, so it didn't take David, Isabella’s dad, by surprise when Caleb met with him to ask for his daughter's hand. He joyfully gave his blessing!

Finally the day came! Caleb asked Isabella to marry him on a beautiful glass bridge that faced the whole city of Cuenca. Isabella’s dream came true as she said yes to the man she loved and turned to see their families around them!
PS: After 7 years of wearing her purity ring she exchanged it for her engagement ring!
Some people find it unusual that their love story came about so quickly, but when you share a calling, a mission in life, and the same passion for Christ, you don't need too much time to figure out that God, in His providence, has orchestrated all the events and heart desires according to His perfect will and timing!
By the grace of God, Caleb and Isabella have kept themselves pure for each other and are saving their first kiss for their wedding day! They praise God that they found each other so early in their lives and pray that He will continue to guide and bless them in their marriage just as He did when he brought their paths together!
