Caleb and Andrea first met at a basement party in O'Fallon in the summer of 2014. Andrea remembers the night very well because she immediately wanted to get to know Caleb. She even purposely took a photo with some friends where he would be in the background to document the event. Caleb can't say he had the same mindset. His friends were home from college and he was excited to get to spend the summer with them. The night ended without knowing if they'd see each other again. We obviously know they did.

A month later, Andrea was heading back to Warrensburg for the weekend for a sorority summer meeting. To her surprise Caleb was at the apartment where she was meeting up with some friends. That night Caleb shared with Andrea that he was going to attend Warrensburg in the fall. She offered to show him around campus. She took him around where his dorm would be, showed him the famous quad (where they got chased out by the sprinklers), President Ambrose's house (where they did not climb the roof of the house) and ended with walking around the sorority and fraternity houses.

Fall classes started. Andrea arrived early to her Literature 1 class when Caleb walked in. After about a month of flirting, Caleb finally had a push to ask for Andrea's number. The relationship continued to grow and they went to Andrea's sorority fall formal together. It was there Caleb asked Andrea to be his girlfriend. That led them to date all throughout their time at UCM. Throughout the rest of college Caleb and Andrea enjoyed going to Greek events together and many visits to Pine Street.

Caleb graduated in May of 2017 and moved to Kansas City. A year later Andrea graduated and moved to Kansas City as well. They both began their careers and continued to grow together and as individuals. They met each other's families and the families met each other. Everything was falling into place.

In the spring of 2023 Caleb had moved home to help with his family's business. Andrea stayed in Kansas City to finish out the school year. One weekend Andrea had plans to go to her favorite band's concert with some friends. Without her knowledge Caleb bought a ticket too. He came back and surprised her! Caleb and their friends had a different agenda for the night. As they were walking to another friend's apartment, they took a little detour where Caleb got down on one knee and proposed to Andrea. She said was not expecting it but of course said yes! They celebrated that night with many friends and family!

We are so excited for the future and all the more special moments to come!
