Although this area is primarily farmland there are several things nearby that are well worth the trip! Ronald Reagan Presidential Library is definitely one of them. If you are interested in history or a fan of President Reagan, we highly recommend this activity, as there is so much to see there, including Air Force One, Marine One, and many relics from some of the most influential historical events in the 80s, not to mention amazing views of Simi Valley.

Head west to the beach for some sun and palm trees. Oxnard Beach park offers you obviously the beach but also a unique park filled with palm trees that you can drive through and live your California Dream and see some beach dunes.

Just North of Oxnard is Ventura where you can walk the promenade and the historical pier. Once you’re done with walking yet another gorgeous California beach, head to the restaurants for lunch or any of their many breweries. If you’re looking for stunning sweeping views of the Ventura coast then drive up to Grant Park for a gorgeous sunset backdrop.

There is so much to do in Santa Barbara if you’re looking for a full day of activity. In SB you can do water activities, visit the Santa Barbara Mission, walk the pier, or walk State street which is filled with restaurants, breweries, shopping and thrifting! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a sunny spot to soak up California.
