Though Caleb and Jocelyn grew up just 20 minutes apart, their lives didn’t intersect until the summer of 2021, shortly after graduating high school. They met by chance at a local gym, where a natural friendship quickly formed. Then before you know it, Caleb was stuck in the friend-zone and Jocelyn had feelings that she didn’t want to expose. Life soon led them down different paths, and they lost touch for a time. In the fall of 2022, they reconnected—and this time, something deeper began to grow. That connection led to a Thanksgiving shared with each of their families, and on December 9, 2022, they officially began their relationship. Nearly two years later, on September 7, 2024, Caleb proposed—and she said yes. While their time together may seem brief, their love has always felt certain. To them, and to those closest to them, it’s clear: this journey was meant to be.
