It's peak leaf peeping season! All the Aspens will be a beautiful shade of golden yellow and it's something you don't want to miss. We recommend taking the shuttle up to Bear Lake. It's accessible and there are more lakes if you're interested in hiking. This is a very busy season for the park so make sure you look into the reservations that are available during your trip before they sell out and do your research.
"No one forgets Grand Lake"
It's Colorado's largest and deepest body of natural water formed by glaciers, surrounded by Colorado's Rocky Mountains. There are more hiking trails, restaurants, and epic views. You won’t find any chain stores here–all of the boardwalk shops are locally-owned and operated, meaning every penny spent directly supports a Grand Lake family.
Winter park offers breweries, scenic views, and you guessed it... more hiking trails. You can buy a ticket for the Gondolas so you can get a birds-eye view of the Aspens and the slopes of this ski town.
