Our Story

On a seemingly normal Thursday, Caleb and Anne attended a Young Adults Outreach Event held at a local thrift store through their home church, Calvary Baptist in Oshawa. After the event, they came back to church. However, before Caleb left, he spotted Anne talking with a group of people. He introduced himself and asked for her contact information. Over the next four weeks, they got to know each other more at Young Adults. Caleb then asked her out for a coffee date at Cork + Bean in Downtown Oshawa, and the rest is history. Caleb proposed to Anne at Lynde Shores Conservation Area on Saturday, April 12, and she said yes!
